Texas

So we're to the last day of our Texas trip! Mom & i will board the plane at 6:00 am-too early! The plane here wasn't all that bad, given it was my first plane ride since i was 3! The weather has been hot & sunny...and made for a pretty nice sunburn! We've been able to spend time with family & do some shopping. It will be weird going back to not seeing any of the family here, but i am ready to get back home to Tyler. It's different going through the day without the normal routine we have together. A big bonus of this trip has been seeing mom every day again, i have really missed that. It's nice to know that when i go to sleep and wake up, she's still there. :)Well, I better start trying to enjoy the last day in the sun-tomorrow it's back to chilly Midwest climate!

Random thoughts

So we're heading back to Indiana tomorrow! We'll be there together until Saturday, celebrating Easter with the family. We're so ready to be back & see everyone. I'll stay there and leave with Mom on Monday for Texas! I've never flown before, so this should be interesting! A whole week in the sunshine...that will be nice! We have a TON going on over the next 2 weeks, we just keep praying for strength! Thank goodness we find out soon what the baby is-I'm so ready to start shopping for him/her. I can't believe there's only 3 1/2 months left...it's gone so quickly! I still can't believe it's already spring time! Summer will be under way in a few short months-woohoo!

Together Time

Together time, it's my favorite! This pic is from a date night last month that was much enjoyed! There for awhile life was too hectic to have time off together. With me not working we now enjoy many more moments together. He just had 2 days off in a row! We spent a lot of time trying to beat each other at games! Neither one of us wants to stop until we've won! He went back to work today, but has the entire weekend off! This is rare, but I won't complain!

The last time we went home I had the joy of watching Carter boy. My sister took her oldest son, Brax, out for the day. While they went shopping, out to eat, and bought some awesome toys-Carter & I played :) He got pretty sleepy & took a nap. We then played with Brax's huge mound of toys! I got out the camera & Carter was happy to pose for me! Nothing's sweeter than time with the nephews :)

Thank you Lord for this day! The weather is so perfect :) It's nice enough to be out in jeans & a sweater and enjoy the day! We already went for a walk in the sunshine today! It's so nice to see all of the snow melting. The birds and squirrels have been making themselves comfortable on our patio, searching for things to eat. I have the windows open and curtains back! I'm sure this won't last for too long, but for now I'm loving it!
